These terms are the agreement between you and Roak LLC for use of Legwork. Using the service means you accept them.
Legwork creates advertising campaigns, ad sets and ads on the Meta account you connect, builds landing pages and creative to go with them, and reports back on how they perform. It's a tool you operate, not an agency retainer, and not financial or legal advice.
You must be 18 or older and legally able to enter a contract. You must actually own the Meta ad account, Page and assets you connect, or have the account owner's permission to run ads on them. You are responsible for what happens under your login, so keep it to yourself.
This is the part people misread, so plainly: we never pay for your ads. Every dollar of ad spend is billed by Meta directly to the payment method on your ad account. Legwork's subscription fee is separate from, and unrelated to, what you spend on ads. We are not responsible for ad spend you incur, including spend from campaigns you approved and then forgot about. Set a spend cap on your Meta account — it's the seatbelt.
Everything Legwork creates is created paused. Campaigns become active only when you approve them. Once they're live, you can pause or delete them from Legwork or from Meta's Ads Manager at any time, and Meta's controls always take precedence over ours.
You keep ownership of everything you upload and everything we generate for you. You give us permission to store, process, adapt and deliver that material for the purpose of running your campaigns — nothing else. You promise you have the rights to what you upload, including any music, footage, likeness or trademark in it. That one matters: rights claims on ad creative land on the advertiser.
Your ads must comply with Meta's Advertising Standards and Terms, and with the law where they run. You're responsible for the claims your ads make. We may refuse or remove anything we reasonably believe breaks those rules or puts our platform access at risk, because losing it would take every customer's campaigns down with it.
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't pro-rate partial periods. If we change pricing, we'll tell you before it hits your next renewal.
Advertising results depend on your product, your audience, your creative, your budget and Meta's auction — most of which we don't control. Legwork applies methods that have worked on real campaigns, and it will still sometimes produce a campaign that underperforms. Nothing here is a guarantee of streams, sales, leads, reach or return.
We aim to keep Legwork running, but it can go down, and Meta's API can go down under us. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we'll give you notice and a way to get your data out.
You can stop using Legwork whenever you like and delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, abuses the service, doesn't pay, or endangers our access to Meta's platform.
Legwork is provided as-is, without warranties beyond those the law won't let us disclaim. To the extent the law allows, Roak LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profit, or lost ad spend, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your ads, your content, or your use of the service in breach of these terms.
Texas law governs this agreement, and any dispute belongs in the state or federal courts of Harris County, Texas.
We'll post updates here and email you about significant ones. Continuing to use Legwork after a change means you accept it.
